Kelsea + Perry had a beautiful, intimate ceremony above Diablo Lake in the North Cascades National Park. Their closes friends and family members brought their camp chairs and their pups and gathered around to witness these two commit their lives to each other! It was such an awesome day!Read More
How gorgeous are these views from Amelia + Brendon’s engagement session in Olympic National Park? Some couples are seriously so easy to photograph and these two are definitely one of those couples with so much playful love between them. I can’t wait for their wedding next June!Read More
Spent the evening running around Mt. Rainier National Park with Kim + Regan celebrating their engagement and documenting their playful, blissful, beautiful love. The low clouds brought such a magical vibe and solidified my opinion of Mt. Rainier being one of the coolest places in the world.Read More
Have you ever had so much to say that you end up speechless? That’s me right now trying to write about Alaina and Jared and this epic adventure we had together.
The day started out with this sweet couple getting ready together at a VRBO on Lake Sutherland with their fur baby Dingo (so much love for couple’s who get ready together on their wedding day!), then we headed over to the Olympic National Park where the cutest wedding crashers decided to join the ceremony (scroll down to see what I mean), then set off on a wondrous little ridge to pop some champagne (multiple bottles might I add) and their first dance as husband and wife, and some sunset portraits. We ended the evening with an unexpected “grand exit” photo, aka me slamming on my breaks a mile down the mountain, and making them jump out of the car for a final wedding kiss in front of their headlights!
This day was so full of love and bliss. The joy these two felt about marrying each other made me smile like a giddy little kid the whole drive home. Thank you Jared and Alaina for letting me tag along and witness your amazing love!Read More
Ashley + Peter are one of my amazing Fall 2018 couples and I am so psyched for their wedding. For their engagement session, we first stopped at their favorite little coffee shop in Olympia, then took a little road trip over to the coast and explored Ruby Beach. Despite the golden rays of sunshine in the photos, it was actually FREEZING and they were such troopers sticking it out so we could get some bangers.
These two killed it and I'm so excited to share this engagement session with you all!Read More
Sam + Jorgen's engagement session was SO MUCH FUN.
We started with a casual, playful setting at Rattlesnake Lake, then strapped on our hiking gear and headed up the mountain to finish their session with romantic vibes at Rattlesnake Ledge.
These are the adventures I live for <3Read More
10 days, 8 flights, 25+ hours in a car. All worth it.
At the beginning of this month, Brandi, Lindsey, and I set off on adventure to see the beautiful land of Ireland. We rented a car and road tripped around the entire country - and in order to meet up with some other groups of friends, we did not necessarily take the route that made the most sense, hence the 25+ hours of driving. Ancient castles, wavering cliffs, unbelievable rock formations, and endless fries (aka "chips") made for an experience of a lifetime.Read More

Nicki + Josh were one of the incredible couples that modeled for us at the Alpine Northwest Photography Workshop this year. Unfortunately, we only got to spend about 20 minutes shooting each couple, but man I could have photographed these two all day, all night.Read More
Our very favorite thing since moving to Washington is finding new hikes and beautiful spots for photoshoots. A few weeks ago Michael and I (and Maverick of course) scouted out this gorgeous little hike to Hanging Gardens in Black Diamond, WA. It was such a peaceful, rainy afternoon spent together in our beloved PNW.Read More
Being self-employed, it can be really hard to force yourself to take a break, respect your work hours, and unplug. Last weekend, we left technology and social media behind, drove an hour up Mt. Charleston, and stayed in a cozy, log cabin at the top. We played cards, watched movies, hiked around, hot tubbed, took pictures, read books, and just relaxed. And it was AWESOME.Read More
Last month, Michael and I went with my Aunt Christine, Uncle Duane, and cousin Jake, to California for Copa America Centenario. Friday we saw the US play Colombia and Monday we saw Argentina vs. Chile. We stayed four days in San Jose and took the train everywhere, including a day in San Francisco and a tour of Alcatraz. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the Golden Gate Bridge because by the time we got back from Alcatraz and ate dinner, we had to start making our way back to San Jose while the public transportation was still available. So we will definitely have to go back soon and stay in San Francisco so we can be sure to see everything! As usual, my go-to travel camera is my Canon AE-1 35 mm film camera because I don't have to worry about breaking or losing it, but this time, we had an accidental light leak, which you will be able to see in some of the photos, and completely ruined a couple of my favorite shots from Alcatraz. Oops! I guess that's why I do all of my client work in with digital. Enjoy! :)Read More
