Jessica + Daniel | Henderson, NV {Rustic Backyard Wedding}

The first time Jessica talked to me about photographing her wedding, I knew we would be a perfect fit. Every detail about the day was gorgeous, while still being laid-back, fun-oriented, and most importantly, about the couple. The reason I LOVE small, intimate weddings like this one is because it allows the focus to truly be on the bride and groom and how much they enjoy each others' company. Jess + Daniel's wedding was no exception. I don't know if I have ever seen a couple more inseparable than these two. They are amazing together and I am so grateful I got to be a part of this beautiful day!

Hayes Family | Henderson, NV {Lifestyle Family Session}

This family seriously stole my heart <3 One of my favorite family sessions to date. They were so relaxed and care free and that always makes for the best pictures! I had a chance to capture their true personalities through candid, documentary style photography which is where my heart truly lies! Thank you so much Hayes family!

Mt. Charleston | Cozy Winter Weekend Getaway {Travel + Adventure Photography}

Being self-employed, it can be really hard to force yourself to take a break, respect your work hours, and unplug. Last weekend, we left technology and social media behind, drove an hour up Mt. Charleston, and stayed in a cozy, log cabin at the top. We played cards, watched movies, hiked around, hot tubbed, took pictures, read books, and just relaxed. And it was AWESOME.

Baby Eli | Henderson, NV {Lifestyle Newborn Session}

Baby Eli made his debut at the beginning of October and his family is absolutely smitten. This gorgeous mama and her three sweet boys were so much fun to photograph! In-home, lifestyle sessions are so much fun because I get to follow the family around with a camera and document their life in that period of time.

Gillilan Family | Henderson, NV {Lifestyle Family Session}

Meet Jill and Charleston. They are two of my favorite people in the world. Charlie girl just turned 6 and was about to lose her front tooth. I can't believe how grown up she is getting. Jill is a single-mom superstar. She is such an amazing friend and one of the most thoughtful and charitable people I know. I love them both to death. Their mother-daughter bond is one of the sweetest things I have ever had the privilege of documenting.

Baldwin Family | Henderson, NV (Lifestyle Family Session}

When Mary contacted me about doing a session for her family for her son's first birthday, I was super nervous because she is a very talented photographer herself. When I asked her what kind of music their family would enjoy listening to during the session and she said they like to jam out to the Golden Oldies Pandora station, I knew the session was going to be awesome. The nervousness proved to be completely irrational because they ended up being some of the most photogenic people I have ever met! Seriously, they made this session SO EASY for me. Thanks again, Baldwin family! You guys rocked it.

AJ + Kittichai | Las Vegas, NV {First Look}

This amazing couple was an absolute DREAM to work with! Beautiful people inside and out. I just love when couples opt to do a first look before the ceremony. It allows them alone time to calm their nerves and just enjoy each other, which is really what your wedding day is all about! I am so glad I got to be a part of their special day!! Congratulations to you love birds!

Jackson Family | Las Vegas, NV {Lifestyle Family Session}

This awesome family ROCKED their session with me in May! (Yes, that is how far behind I am on blogging. Yikes.) Robin is one of the sweetest, most caring people I know and I am lucky to call her a friend <3 Her son, Jett, is absolutely adorable. And the man by her side, who was her boyfriend at the time, became her fiancΓ© the next day, and is now her husband! I am so glad I got to capture these memories for them in such a special time in their lives. Thank you Jackson family!

San Francisco Trip | June 2016 {Travel + Adventure Photography}

Last month, Michael and I went with my Aunt Christine, Uncle Duane, and cousin Jake, to California for Copa America Centenario. Friday we saw the US play Colombia and Monday we saw Argentina vs. Chile. We stayed four days in San Jose and took the train everywhere, including a day in San Francisco and a tour of Alcatraz. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the Golden Gate Bridge because by the time we got back from Alcatraz and ate dinner, we had to start making our way back to San Jose while the public transportation was still available. So we will definitely have to go back soon and stay in San Francisco so we can be sure to see everything! As usual, my go-to travel camera is my Canon AE-1 35 mm film camera because I don't have to worry about breaking or losing it, but this time, we had an accidental light leak, which you will be able to see in some of the photos, and completely ruined a couple of my favorite shots from Alcatraz. Oops! I guess that's why I do all of my client work in with digital. Enjoy! :)

Sedona Trip | May 2016 {Travel + Adventure Photography}

Last month, Michael and I took a little weekend trip to Sedona. It was so nice to just get away for a few days and enjoy nature and each other's company. My husband doesn't count it as "hiking" if you stay on a path so our weekend was a little more adventurous than I expected, but it was a blast (sunburns and all)! I told him I would follow him off the path ONLY if he didn't complain when I stopped to take pictures ;)
