This maybe isn’t saying much, because all of my couples make me happy, but this wedding had me smiling from cheek to cheek the entire day. These two have the cutest relationship and their love blessed all in attendance to their intimate, family-oriented wedding day on Vashon Island. Janita described Jonathan as the Yang to her Yin, and that was apparent from the moment I met them. They complete eachother.

They originally booked me for their Fall wedding in Seattle, and then a few months later, I got a pretty neat surprise: a phone call from them to let me know that they had decided to have an intimate, destination wedding in Punta Cana instead, and lucky for me, I got to join them!
We started the day with a sunrise “morning of” session to take a dip in the ocean and have some fun at the beach, as well as calm their nerves, and get some last photos as fiancés! Then they kissed goodbye, went back to their separate rooms and got ready for their big day, and the rest unfolded perfectly.
