Joanna + Brian | West Coast Intimate Adventure Wedding {Big Sur, CA}

Joanna + Brian are without a doubt one of my favorite couples I have ever worked with. They ditched wedding tradition and made their day something truly unique. After getting ready at the Deetjens Inn, Jo met her groom at the end of the aisle under a grove of cypress trees, where they exchanged their vows, surrounded by their closest friends and family members. Then they spent the rest of the day meeting each of their loved ones at different locations along the coast, where they enjoyed some time together and gave them each a special hand written letter. Afterwards, they headed over to Alvarado Street Brewery for an evening of pizza and beer. It was such a beautiful, intimate day filled with love and laughter and I’m so grateful to have been there to witness it! #murphyme #justmurphied

Chelsie + Matt | Marymere Falls Elopement {Olympic National Park, WA}

Chelsie and Matthew, with their fur baby Archie by their side, set out last July for the Olympic National Park for the beginnings of their biggest adventure yet - marriage! They got ready at a rustic lake-house cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Crescent, took some photos with Archie (did I mention this dog has a faux-hawk? Such a cute boy!), then headed off to elope in the woods and explore the gorgeous Marymere Falls!

It was such an awesome day - every elopement I have the chance to be a part reminds me of how incredibly lucky I am to get to do what I do and experience the things I get to experience.

SO MUCH LOVE!

Amanda + Sean | Intimate Resort Wedding in Punta Cana {Majestic Elegance, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic}

Amanda + Sean are one of the sweetest and most genuine couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. They originally booked me for their Fall wedding in Seattle, and then a few months later, I got a pretty neat surprise: a phone call from them to let me know that they had decided to have an intimate, destination wedding in Punta Cana instead, and lucky for me, I got to join them!

We started the day with a sunrise “morning of” session to take a dip in the ocean and have some fun at the beach, as well as calm their nerves, and get some last photos as fiancés! Then they kissed goodbye, went back to their separate rooms and got ready for their big day, and the rest unfolded perfectly.

Congratulations, Sean + Amanda, and thank you for bringing me along for the ride!
